What You Need to Know About the 2024 SONDORS MetaBeast X: The Future of Electric Motorcycles

 

The 2024 SONDORS MetaBeast X is a fully-electric dual-sport motorcycle that combines the ease of riding an e-bike with the power and torque of an off-road motorcycle. It has a unique weld-free frame, an 18-kW (24.1-hp) electric motor, a 95V, 55Ah battery, and a top speed of 75mph. It also has a range of about 80 miles per charge, an inverted fork and a mono-shock rear suspension, disc brakes, spoked wheels with knobby tires, and a digital display integrated into the bodywork. The MetaBeast X is street-legal and weighs only 200lbs. It is currently available for preorder for $6,500 until April 12th, 2023, after which the price will increase to $8,000. Deliveries are expected to start in October 2023.

The SONDORS MetaBeast X is a follow-up to the SONDORS MetaCycle, an urban-focused electric motorcycle that was released in early 2021. The MetaCycle has a similar design language to the MetaBeast X, but features smaller battery covers and a lower top speed of 80mph. The MetaCycle also has a lower price of $5,000

SONDORS also offers a lower-specced version of the MetaBeast X called the MetaBeast. The MetaBeast has a 6-kW (8-hp) motor, a 50-mph top speed, a 72V, 30Ah battery, and a range of 44 miles. It weighs only 123lbs and costs $3,000 for preorder until April 12th, 20232. The MetaBeast is also street-legal and suitable for off-road riding.
